If you want to experience the full range of Pilates exercises – on the mat and the equipment – I recommend you start with several private sessions. Together, we will develop Pilates and/or MELT workouts that are perfectly tailored to fit your body's needs. Over the years, I have helped a range of clients from spry teens to people recovering from surgeries to older people with severe limitations. Between Pilates and MELT, there is a workout that will help strengthen every individual, no matter what your current condition.
I always suggest that first-time students begin with a few private sessions. This will enable me to get to know your body and you to get a sense of how the work feels when done correctly. This feeling will serve as a guide when you are in a group class or working out at home. Group classes are more cost-effective and will provide you with an excellent workout. For those of you who are willing to commit more to the process, there is no substitute for a private session.
